Inspiration Isn’t Always Necessary, but Nice to Have Around

Inspiration isn’t always necessary, but nice when its company is present. The most creative minds will even reach a blockade in their abilities to produce, but they never give up. The only way we fail is if we quit.

Maybe your solution is better time-management. The expectations you lay upon yourself might be greater than you’re actually capable of. After all, Rome wasn’t built in a day (it actually took about 500 years). Hopefully your next article, design, video or project won’t take the same amount of time to complete.

You may possibly need to find more fountains of inspiration in your DAILY life. A walk through a park, lunch with your family, a gallery of images or few episodes of The Office might be what you need to recharge your creative batteries. If you’re unsure of what allows you to relax and innovate then spend some time to find what this is. It’s important to take time for yourself to keep from falling out of sanity.

The secret to defeating these blocks in our life is to keep going. Something created from passion, divine intervention or the need of a paycheck can still be beautiful and helpful to someone else on this planet.

Continue to create, even when you don’t feel inspired to. Don’t give up.
