Retain

Keep the customers you already earned coming back.

Most businesses spend nearly all of their marketing money finding new customers and almost none of it bringing back the ones who already trust them. Retain is how we fix that.

Who this is for

Retain is for businesses whose customers can buy again.

Carpet cleaners. HVAC and plumbing companies. Dentists and chiropractors. Salons. Auto repair shops. Online stores. Gyms and studios. Churches and nonprofits whose members and donors give more than once. Any business where the second sale should be easier than the first, but isn’t happening as often as it should.

If your customers realistically buy from you once in a lifetime, Retain still applies, but it looks different. There’s a note on that below.

The friction at this stage

Here's what usually happens.

A customer has a good experience with you. Then they hear nothing. No reminder when it’s time to come back. No easy way to rebook. When they do return, they get treated like a stranger and asked for the same information they gave you last time.

The business simplified its own process and handed the work to the customer.

Customers don’t push through friction to give you money a second time. They forget. Or they go with whoever happened to show up in their inbox or their feed the week they needed the service. Not because that business was better. Because it was easier.

Retention isn’t a loyalty program or a punch card. It’s removing every reason a returning customer has to hesitate.

The number we own

Retain

Metric

Repeat-purchase rate and average time between purchases.

Friction we remove

Silence after the sale, no return path, re-entering information.

Who it’s for

Businesses with a repeatable purchase or renewal.

Why this number matters, in plain math

A carpet cleaner serves 400 customers a year at an average of $300 per job. Most of those customers come back every two years, if they come back at all.

If half of them came back every year instead, that’s 200 additional jobs. $60,000 a year in new revenue, from people the business has already paid to find.

No new ad spend. No new leads. The same list, working harder.

We measure your version of that number before we start, so you know the baseline and we both know what moved.

What's included

What's included

Retain is a system, not a single service. Three parts, built to fit how often your customers actually buy.

Onboard

The first 30 days after someone becomes a customer decide whether they’ll be a customer again. We build the welcome sequence, set expectations, make it obvious how to reach you, and ask for the review at the moment they’re most likely to leave one.

Stay in touch

A communication schedule tied to your purchase cycle, not a random monthly newsletter. Reminders when a customer is due. A returning-customer path on your website that doesn’t make them start over. Content that’s useful between purchases so you’re not only showing up when you want something.

Reactivate

Every business has customers who haven’t been back in a while. They already know you. Winning them back is the fastest revenue in this whole model, and it gets its own page.

Win back lapsed customers →

Measure

A monthly report on the two numbers that matter here: how many customers came back, and how long it took them. Not opens and clicks. Revenue from returning customers.

How it works

How it works

STEP 01

Diagnostic

We score all five stages of your customer journey, find the one costing you the most, and establish your baseline repeat numbers. If Retain isn't your real constraint, we'll tell you.

Start with the diagnostic →
STEP 02

Build the system

Onboarding, communication schedule, returning-customer path, and win-back campaign. Typically 60 to 90 days, connected to the tools you already use where possible.

STEP 03

Run it and report on it

We manage the system and report monthly on repeat rate and time between purchases. You see the number move or you see why it hasn't.

The diagnostic fee is credited toward the engagement if you move forward.

If your customers only buy once

A pool builder doesn’t get repeat pool customers. Neither does a roofer, most of the time.

Retain still applies. The returning customer is the one they send you.

For one-time-purchase businesses, this stage focuses on the review, the referral, and the service relationship. The onboarding sequence still runs. The follow-up still happens. The measurement changes to referral rate and review volume instead of repeat purchases. Same system, different number.

FAQ

Questions, answered honestly

Isn't this just email marketing?
Email is usually how the messages get delivered. It isn't the system. The system is knowing when each customer is due, what they should hear from you between purchases, and making it easy for them to come back without starting over. Email marketing without that is a newsletter.
What if I don't have my customers' email addresses?
That's the first thing we fix, and it's more common than you'd think. Depending on your business, it might be a booking system, a point-of-sale integration, a simple form, or a change in how your team asks. You can't retain customers you can't contact.
How long before we see results?
Reactivation is fastest. Lapsed customers can start coming back within 60 to 90 days. Improvements in repeat frequency take at least one full purchase cycle to measure honestly. If your customers buy every six months, we need six months to know.
Do I need new software?
Usually not. We work with what you have where we can and only add tools when they remove work for you or your customer. Adding a platform that nobody keeps up with is its own kind of friction.
What does it cost?
Setup is $3,000 and the monthly plan is $449 or $899, depending on whether you want us running the systems or managing the outcome. Full pricing is above. The diagnostic comes first and is credited toward setup.

Find out what your returning customers are worth.

The diagnostic shows you where customers drop off, what it's costing you, and what's realistic to recover. If retention isn't your problem, you'll know that too.
